Renewing your hosting and domain
Viewed 17 times
Hosting and domains are renewed on a recurring basis, and keeping both current is what keeps your site online and your email working.
How renewal works
We generate an invoice before the due date and email it to your registered address. Once it is paid, the service renews on its existing term. Nothing else is required from you.
What happens if an invoice is not paid
- The service falls overdue and a reminder is sent.
- If it remains unpaid, the service is suspended. Your files are not deleted at this point, but the website and email stop working.
- If it remains unpaid after suspension, the service is eventually terminated and the data removed.
If a domain registration lapses and is not renewed within the grace period, it returns to the open market and may be bought by someone else. Domain renewals are the one thing worth never leaving late.
Keeping your details current
Invoices and reminders go to the email address on your account. If that address changes or stops working, update it in the client area, or you will not receive renewal notices.
Upgrading or downgrading
You can move between plans at any time and upgrades happen on the same platform, so there is nothing to migrate. If you are nearing a limit on storage or accounts, contact us and we will tell you which plan fits.
Questions about an invoice
Open a support ticket from the client area and include the invoice number. We would rather answer a question about a bill than have you pay one you are unsure about.
